It’s not fair!!
In the book Anne Frank, her entry on the 7th of November talks about herself expressing her feelings towards her diary, Kitty. She feels that no one is treating her like a responsible adult. I can relate to her because I also feel that sometimes my parents just don’t trust me enough and they think i’m not that responsible. I agree that i may be a bit immature sometimes but i can be serious if I wanted to. Although i’m the oldest in the family, my parents still treat me like a child.
Although, I still think Anne was overreacting a little bit because it was her fault in the first place. She took the book without permission and that isn’t a very good idea because i think it’s very annoying when someone takes your belongings without your permission. Being the oldest brother, i get that all the time, i get punished because i dont want to share. Speaking of being punished, Anne also thought that it was unfair that Margot was always the good one, ‘Miss Perfect’. I can also relate to this because my parents think i should share with my brothers when they don’t share at all.
She also feels that people are not taking her seriously. I too can relate to this again because one day my parents think i’m immature then another day they think i’m a good son. Well, i do like the fact that they say that but its always so random.
To sum it all up, i think that Anne and I have may things in common because of the way we think we are being treated and i hope to see more of her writing when we read further.
